THE REAL VILLAIN OF VAALU ...

When a large part of the industry is still stuck talking about the hurdles Vaalu faced in the course of its production, we at behindwoods wanted to throw some light on the real villain of Vaalu. Aditya, a famous, critically acclaimed actor from the neighbouring state of Karnataka essays the role of the antagonist in this much-awaited film.

In a short conversation with us, this is what Aditya had to share about Tamil cinema and specifically Vaalu.

“I have always admired Tamil industry for its creative scope and nature to encourage upcoming talents. On the other hand, cinema is either good or bad irrespective of the language it releases in. The language of cinema remains the same.

Vaalu definitely is a special movie for me as I debut into a new industry. I do not have many scenes in combination with Simbu but I must say Simbu is SUPER-TALENTED.

My character is not a full-time baddie in the movie. It is a character that is a parallel lead, which has its own set of principles that may seem wrong to few people. This slightly gives the character a negative shade.”

Aditya, with more than 15 films to his credit in Kannada, expressed that he is very excited about Vaalu’s release and signed off by stating,

“I believe in the saying, 'good things come to people who wait'. So I wish our team receives the deserved success after all this waiting. I request the Tamil audience to watch me and bless me!”
