Karthi’s Komban in trouble, industry unites

These days, making a film has become quite easy when compared to releasing it. And even after completing all the necessary legitimate procedures, there is always something unexpected in the form of legal hurdles initiated by some vested interests.

The latest film that is facing such rough weather is the Karthi starrer Muthiah directorial Komban produced by Studio Green.

Pudhiya Thamizhagam leader Krishnaswamy had filed a case against the release of the film stating that it would incite law and order issue in the southern part of Tamil Nadu and that the title itself is derogatory of a community.

Meanwhile, the entire film industry has come in support of the film's release and producer Studio Green has called for a press meeting this evening at Film Chamber of Commerce, Chennai to support Komban. The production house categorically states that the film is just about a son-in-law and a father-in-law and does not talk either high or low of any caste.
