Sarath Kumar's English avatar!

It’s been a while since we saw our very own ‘Supreme Star’ Sarath Kumar doing a full-fledged action lead role. Though he had acted in some cameo roles in movies like 'I', Nimirndhu Nil, Chennaiyil Oru Naal and Kochadaiiyaan, his last full-fledged role was in Jaggubhai which released in early 2010. Now he is back with Sandamarutham with the same josh and vigor.

He is playing dual roles in the movie, the hero as well as the antagonist.  The villain’s role is said to be even more powerful. Sandamarutham will supposedly release in close to 250 screens in Tamil Nadu and 25 screens in Kerala. The movie is also expected to see a theatrical run in Delhi and Mumbai too.

Sandamarutham will reportedly be released in four languages - Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and also English(for Malaysia/Singapore audience). Apparently Sarath Kumar has dubbed for all the four versions. While the Tamil version is set to release tomorrow, the other versions will take time to hit the screens.

The movie was shot in 83 days’ time with the climax portion alone amounting to 20 days. Behindwoods wishes Sarath Kumar and team a happy outing!
