TAMIL NADU BOX-OFFICE - PAAYUM PULI'S OPENING WEEKEND FIGURES

Vishal - Suseenthiran's second outing together Paayum Puli released on September 4. Reviews and response from the audience have been above average to decent. The second half of the film has earned some good mentions particularly.

 

At the box office, Paayum Puli has grossed around 6.5 crores in Tamil Nadu after the first 3 days (it isn't tax-free). In Chennai city, the Paayum Puli gross is around 80.5 lakhs as reported earlier in our weekly box-office report.

 

Another factor in the Paayum Puli opening is the supremely strong showing of Thani Oruvan in its 2nd weekend as well. We have to see how the Vishal starrer holds on in the coming days.
