THIS FILM HAS SUPERSTAR'S BLESSINGS!

Tomorrow, the 24th of September, will see a set of promising films like Kuttram Kadithal, Kirumi, Unakkenna Venum Sollu and Thiruttu VCD gearing up for release. The buzz surrounding all these films is positive and they are expected to be a treat for hardcore film buffs.

When Behindwoods spoke to Kirumi’s director Anucharan, he was candid enough to share his insights about the film,

“To be frank, the wave around Thani Oruvan, Maya and TIN is still strong and with Puli releasing on the 1st of October, the buzz for the Vijay starrer will start from Monday. So I feel we have to cash in on the 4 day weekend we have. There have been good films in the past that have gone unnoticed. Hope this film doesn’t go that way.”

When asked about Rajinikanth’s involvement towards Kirumi, Anucharan said,

“The producer of Kirumi is Rajinikanth’s erstwhile manager, and we were trying to make him watch the film, but unfortunately he is busy with Kabali's shoot. However, we went personally and got his blessings and also his sign on the film’s poster."
