Radha Mohan’s laugh riot with Karunakaran

Jan 16, 2015

Director Radha Mohan’s last film was Gouravam and he is now involved with his next titled Uppu Karuvadu which is being produced by Ramjee Narasiman for First Copy Pictures and Radha Mohan himself for his Night Show Cinema.

The film stars Karunakaran as the protagonist and is paired opposite Nanditha.  The supporting cast includes M.S.Baskar, Mayilsamy, Kumaravel, Chams, Narayanan, new face Rakshitha, Saravanan and 'Doubt' Senthil. Choreographer Satish plays a very important role in the film. The technical team includes Mahesh Muthusamy as the DoP, guitarist Steve Vatz as the music director, Madhan Karky as the lyricist, Jai as editor and Kathir as art director.

The film as stated by Radha Mohan is about ambition and compromise. He says, “When you have an ambition, you should not compromise for short term benefits. If you do that, the ambitious travel could be jeopardized”. The film is being shot over the coastal regions and is said to recapture the life style of the people who live there which justifies its title, adds producer Ramjee Narasiman.

The team also adds that Uppu Karuvadu will be a laugh riot and is aiming for a mid-summer release.
