AR Rahman donates his talent

April is Parkinson's Awareness Month and Chennai's own Oscar Winner A.R. Rahman, a known philanthropist, is doing his part to bring attention to this nervous system disorder around the world.

Isai Puyil Rahman has donated the use of his music for the short film "The Road Not Taken", which was created to help raise funds for the famous Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

The film, written and directed by Australian-based Sanjane Koneshamoorthy, is truly a global initiative, boasting music from Rahman, as well as popular Indian musicians Pravin Mani and Srinivas, and producers from Malaysia. Rahman, Mani and Srinivas were generous enough to donate their musical contributions for the film and its cause free of cost.
