Composer Anirudh has opened up on the sensational 'Beep Song' controversy through his Twitter space. This is what the 'Thangamagan' composer had to say, after wrapping up his Toronto concert on 12th December,
"I was preoccupied with my concert in Toronto (dedicated to the flood victims of Chennai) and was busy focusing on the rehearsals and the concert. I would like to clarify my stand on the subject of the 'Beep Song'.
It is neither my composition nor my lyrics and I am not the singer. Unfortunately and to my dismay my name has been dragged into this controversy. I wish to reiterate that I have the greatest regard and respect for women. I deeply regret this undesirable situation putting an end to all speculations on this subject."
