''WE ARE HOPEFUL ABOUT RECOVERING OUR PULI INVESTMENT''

The Telugu dubbed version of Puli had a delayed release in Andhra / Nizam on Oct 2nd evening. SVR Media released the film in Telugu. We spoke to Shobha of SVR Media, regarding the opening performance of the Telugu version of Puli.

 

"Puli had a delayed release here from Friday evening and after the weekend spanning 2.5 days, the total share from Andhra and Nizam is around 2.5 crores. This is a very good opening figure for a Vijay film.

 

The film has seen adverse mixed reviews in Tamil Nadu and other parts of the country, and there is some impact due to these reviews in Andhra as well. But we are doing our best to promote the film aggressively in the hope of recovering our investments.  We are targeting kids and the family crowd.

 

Rudhramadevi, which comes on October 9, will definitely have an impact on Puli but there is space for 2 to 3 big films at any point of time. Ultimately time will decide, and we are hopeful."
