A big section of the industry is waiting for Kochadaiyaan's release date

Ever since the audio and trailer release of Superstar's Kochadaiyaan, fans and the trade are really eager to know about the film's final release date. While April 11 was the earlier said date, there are chances that the film may be pushed to May as the post-production processes are still happening. 

 

This uncertainty over the release date of Kochadaiyaan has reportedly impacted the release plans of some other films which are in the pipeline, such as Maan Karate, Jagajala Pujabala Thenaliraman, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, Jigarthanda to name a few. Vishal's Naan Sigappu Manithan looks more or less certain to release on April 11, while the other mentioned films aren't in a position to commit their final release date as the Superstar's film is waiting in the wings. 

 

We hear that the producers of these films are really looking forward to the day, Kochadaiyaan's final release date is decided, so that they can finalize their release plans accordingly. 

 

As earlier reported, Kochadaiyaan looks set to open in record number of screens across the world in many languages and all prominent theaters can be expected to screen this movie for a couple of weeks atleast. Made at a budget of more than 100 crores, Soundarya Rajnikanth Ashwin directs this photo-realistic performance capture extravaganza.
