Naan Sigappu Manithan faced with a big 'kiss' dilemma

There has been quite a lot of buzz surrounding a kissing scene between Vishal and Lakshmi Menon in the upcoming Naan Sigappu Manithan. Apparently, there is an underwater episode between the lead pair which is touted to be very intimate and sensuous. Lakshmi Menon has been lauded by the team for being very sportive in doing this scene as it was essential to the movie. But, it looks like this kissing episode might cost NSM a clean U certificate.

Vishal and team are now pondering over whether to retain this kissing scene. Nowadays, the importance of the U certificate has grown manifold as only U rated films are eligible for entertainment tax exemption. We have to see whether the NSM team is ready to let go of this scene for the sake of a clean chit from the censors.
