Kaththi is the latest in a long line of good work

Fox Star Studios, leading producers and distributors, are bringing about some positive changes in the film market in South India. They are not only directly getting into production in association with leading local names but also distributing and releasing South Indian films all over the country in good number of screens with extensive marketing and promotions.

 

As reported earlier, Kaththi was released successfully by them in Karnataka. Also, Jigarthanda was taken to North India and Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal was released successfully outside Tamil Nadu by Fox Star. They have also been taking many Malayalam films outside Kerala and giving them a big release in other Indian markets.

- A strong distribution network and willingness to try out different genres of films. They don't sell films and exploit a film on their own.

- Good mutual relationship with the trade and the exhibitors.

- Efforts in expanding the market for regional Southern films

- A strong Hollywood line-up as well as Indian content in the offing. Gone Girl is currently in theaters
