Amyra experiences Dhanush's superstardom

Tamil cinema’s latest high profile Bollywood entrant Amyra Dastur, who will be making her K-town debut with the K.V.Anand – Dhanush film Anegan, recently spoke out about her early experiences working in the Tamil industry.

For starters she admitted that she had no clue about the Tamil language and had to resort to placards of Tamil dialogues written in Hindi or unit assistants prompting her with dialogues which made things easy for her. She now feels that the Tamil language is quite simple to pick up and articulate.

Amyra also got a first hand experience of Dhanush’s popularity in the state while shooting in a remote village for Anegan. The shooting spot was swarmed by thousands of fans who thronged to see the National Award winner who was his usual composed self. She recounted that a single wave from Dhanush sent the crowd into a frenzy and resulted in the shooting being stalled for a couple of hours.
