AR Rahman completes… Siddharth marches towards the end

Vasantha Balan’s upcoming project is yet another period movie, Kaaviya Thalaivan. Starring actor Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhika, Anaika Soti and Nassar in pivotal characters, the movie is a 1930s based musical, with the Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman composing for it.

Rahman has completed the song recording part. He has apparently delivered six full length songs and two short tracks to the team.

As far as shooting is concerned, 70% of the film has been canned, we hear. The team will resume their next schedule in Chennai today, 5th December. This schedule will supposedly go on for 18 days, with which 90% of the movie would be completed.

In its crew, the film also has two geniuses we recently lost. Late choreographer Raghuram had worked on a song and lyricist Vaali had written two songs for the movie. The rest of the songs are choreographed by Siva Shankar, Raju Sundaram and Chinni Prakash.
