Anu Vardhan, the better half of director Vishnuvardhan, is a constant in all the films that Vishnu does, in her capacity as the costume designer. She has worked in Billa and is also in the current Ajith film that her husband is doing, tentatively titled Valai.

She recently spoke about how Ajith was a debonair and stylish personality who would look good in Western as well as Indian attires. Generally fans have pointed out that Ajith is always seen in formal attire in suits in his recent films like Billa 2, Aasal and Billa to name a few. To this, Anu shot back by saying that an international don wouldn’t dress up in native costumes like dhothis and kurtas. She goes by the demands of the character and selects costumes which would complement the look of the character.
 

Among her favorites, is the dashing white suit that Ajith wore in Billa.
