From what we have come to know RS Prasanna’s Kalyana Samayal Saadham (KSS) will have some international flavor to it. The final sound mix of the film was recently completed at Hollywood’s Warner Brothers Studio, Los Angeles.

Kunal Rajan, who worked with Auro 3D technology in Vishwaroopam, is the sound supervisor of this romcom. Hollywood giants like sound mixer Tom Marx, who has worked on Man of Steel, Bruce Nyznik, a legendary ADR Supervisor, who was a part of Sin City and Space Jam and Gary of Captain America fame have also worked in Kalyana Samayal Saadham.

“Especially in new age comedies, and some of the best from world cinema, sound elements like room tone, ambience etc play a huge role in adding to the comic atmosphere. The texture of sound is as critical as the visual experience of the movie,” says director RS Prasanna, on why opt for high end sound for a romantic comedy.

Kalyana Samayal Saadham stars Prasanna and Lekha Washington in the lead roles and Delhi Ganesh, Uma Padmanabhan and Praveen in supporting characters. Arun Vaidhyanadhan and Ananth Govindan are funding the project and Arrora delivers the music and the back ground scores. The latter’s single track ‘Mella Sirithai’, which was recently released, is doing good rounds in YouTube and other social networks.
