Vetrimaaran’s production venture, starring Siddharth in the lead and with Manikandan directing it, was initially titled Desiya Nedunchalai (NH4). But recently the team had to change the title to Udhayam NH4. Reason behind the change is touted to be Powerstar Srinivasan. The Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya actor has reportedly registered the title.

Vetrimaaran has co-produced the project with Dhayanidhi Alagiri, and has also written the story and screenplay for the film. The rest of the crew consist of Vetrimaaran’s usual, GV Prakash, Velraj and Te Kishore. Ashrita Shetty plays the female lead and Kishore and Deepak feature in supporting roles.
