They say that films can influence the society with its content but in Uttar Pradesh certain films are being shown to the police force as an example of civil service. Suriya’s Singam, along with Salman Khan’s Dabbang are being screened to police personnel in the state of U.P to display how a cordial relationship can be maintained between police and the public.

The films, in a sense, highlight the approachability of super cops to the general masses and the state of U.P hopes to create the same aura around their police force too. Meanwhile Suriya’s Singam 2 is expected to hit screens this summer and the actor is moving on to commence work for Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram.
