Brother of Kamal Haasan and senior member of Raaj Kamal Films International, Chandra Haasan, has been the one who has been representing the film in its ongoing legal turmoil. After the concerned judge had announced that the case had been deferred till tomorrow, Chandra Haasan spoke briefly to the media on the turn of events.

He said that the production house will be abiding by the law and consider a legal course of action as and when required. He also said that in the case of a positive verdict they will need to look into the availability of theatres in order to determine the release date.

He also stressed that he cannot take a call on whether few scenes can be edited to accommodate the film’s release, he said that would be the prerogative of the film’s director, Kamal Haasan. He also thanked the support he’s received from the film fraternity and emphasized that they would not have made the film if they intended to intentionally offend anyone.
