GV Prakash comes for Powerstar

Apr 25, 2013

Powerstar Srinivasan’s next project, Summa Nachunu Irukku’s music was launched yesterday, 24th April, amidst the presence of GV Prakash, Thaman, Dharan, SA Chandrasekhar, Abirami Ramanathan, T Rajender, Thambi Ramaiah, Nakul, Hari Kumar and Sneha Britto.

Composer GV Prakash launched the first copy of the music and music directors Thaman and Dharan received it.

While talking at the event, Abirami Ramanathan raised an issue about the prevailing theater crunch. He feels the number of releases has increased by a huge margin and because of this, many small budget films are going unnoticed.

TR came up with a solution for this problem. He feels that ticket rates must be lowered for small films and must be given smaller screens. He believes that this will attract more crowds. He also pointed out that the Andhra industry tackles this problem better.

Powerstar Srinivasan thanked his producer for giving him a part in the film. Esthell Entertainers was supposedly the first company to sign Powerstar this year and it has brought him good luck, feels the actor. Following this film he has six more lined up.

Sneha Britto, the heir of the production house and the director of the recently released Sattam Oru Iruttarai said she was very particular about roping in Powerstar for the film and that the “Terror Love Anthem” made her more eager to get him into the film.

All the other team members expressed their happiness and gratitude, as the event came to a wrap.
