The lead actor RJ fame Shiva starred in Tamizh Padam, where his acting prowess was well acclaimed. The launch pad has certainly credited him with this role, a totally different role so early in his tinsel career. Dayanidhi Alagiri, who loves trying new genres, took up this distribution purely based on the unusual story and the confidence in the magnificent team behind its making, which he has worked with earlier.

This film from Y NOT STUDIOS is produced by Sashikanth Sivaji and is to be distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's coveted Cloud Nine Movies. The shooting of the film commenced early 2010 at various locations in Chennai.

The soundtrack and film score is composed by GV Prakash Kumar and cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah. The audio was launched by Arya and Suriya in the beginning of September. The music composer and a few songs screened during the event had earned a good share of their praises. Of course, then it’s been history - the roaring success of the album, adding one more feather in the young music director’s cap. GV Prakash has certainly tickled the ivories in a different style and has given fabulous music.

A certain level of intoxication seems to have been woven in the name of the movie which has created a new wave of suspense in the movie crazy minds. Guesses are floating around on the storyline especially in the youngsters’ circles. Grapevine reveals that it embraces the local flavors of Chennai but unlike Pushkar- Gayathri’s debut creation Oram Po, this has its foundation strongly laid on comedy. This story from the director duo’s desk revolves around incidents that happen in Chennai over a night.

The movie supposed to be a full-length rib tickler and a sure festive entertainer breezes through the adventures of a Chennai youth with scenes mostly shot in Chennai. Who then would have spared the Marina Beach as a shooting spot, not even the Va - Quarter Cutting team.

Will this differently named Kollywood conception become the talk of the town, rather the world? The answer lies just a week away.
