Kannukkul Nilavu, Kadhalukku Mariyadhai and Friends were the superhits from the combination of Vijay and Isaignani Ilayaraja. Now we hear that Ameer, who is likely to direct Kannabiran with Vijay in the lead, is keen to rope in the ace composer to do the music for the film.
In a recent function Ameer publicly asked Ilayaraja if he would do the music for Kannabiran, for which the composer mocked at the director saying his hands have sword and blood stains and that Yuvan would suit him better than himself. However, Ameer is in no mindset to give up. He is likely to approach him again.
