A.R.Rahman is known to be a very pious and God-fearing man. On Sunday evening around 7pm, he visited the 'Dargah' opposite the LIC Towers in Mount Road, Chennai and spent close to 15 minutes praying at the mosque. He didn't create any flutter or panic among the other worshipers and just came in a simple manner like any other common man.
After completing his prayers, he came out and distributed alms to the poor and needy outside the mosque and left. The onlookers must have been a pleasantly surprised lot for sure.
