Vijay starrer Thuppakki is still under interim ban, yet the makers are confident that the case will soon come to an end. Though an official announcement is awaited, we hear that the producers have decided to release the film on Diwali, November 13th.
The Karnataka rights for the film have also been sold for a massive sum to Bangalore Srikanth. It is touted that the sum paid for Thuppakki is the highest ever for a Vijay’s film in Karnataka. Srikanth will have back to back releases, considering that he also has the rights for Maattrraan, which will hit the screens on October 12th.
