Samantha was not very happy when she discovered that a website had carried a story accusing her of arrogance since she chose not to be a part of award functions. The spirited actress took to a microblogging site to defend her position.
Samantha asserted that she has no interest in getting awards just because she agreed to attend the particular function. She prefers to be awarded for her work in films. Besides, the love and appreciation of fans is the biggest award she can hope for, the actress said.
