Karthi’s Saguni is based on Nira Radia and the 2G Spectrum scam, reports sources from Kollywood. It was said that Saguni is a political thriller and some stills released earlier show Karthi dressed up as a politician.
Now, the latest buzz is that the film is based on the 2G Spectrum scam and there is a character that is inspired by Nira Radia, the corporate lobbyist said to be involved in the scam.
This throws a new dimension to Saguni and fans expect Karthi to mouth some fiery dialogues tinged on politics. Saguni is directed by newbie Shankar Dayal and has Pranitha as Karthi’s pair.
