India’s first woman IPS officer Kiran Bedi has launched the audio and trailer of the Parthiban-starrer Vithagan. On releasing the audio and trailer in a simple function attended by director AR Murugadoss who received the first copy from her, Kiran Bedi said that she never attends film functions but she decided to attend this particular function because Parthiban plays a police officer in it.
Bedi recalled that she was at the audio of Vijayshanthi’s Karthavyam several years ago and that was the first film function for her. In Vithagan, Parthiban plays the lead role and Poorna is his lead pair.
