Ek Deewana Thaa, the Hindi version of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya, will be released in January 2012. VTV received a huge response from the movie buffs when it was released and the film’s director Gautham Menon decided to take it to Bollywood.

Ek Deewana Thaa stars Prateik Babbar and Any Jackson in the lead roles. It may be recalled that Silambarasan and Trisha essayed the lead roles in the Tamil version and their on-screen chemistry was the talk of the town.

Music for this film has been scored by the Oscar winner AR Rahman, who also gave chartbusters in VTV.
