It was announced that Amala Paul will be the heroine in the Jayam Ravi film, Boologam to be produced by Aascar V Ravichandran and directed by Kalyan. However, the actress had to withdraw from the project as she could not find the dates for the film. Currently she is working round the clock with two films each in Telugu and Malayalam plus she is shooting for some commercials as well.

The hunt is on for a heroine to replace her in Boologam. The producers want a big name actress now and an official announcement will be made once the heroine is finalized.
