Prabhu has said that he prefers films to be shot in film studios as it would help to build a strong rapport between the actors. The actor recalled the days when actors like his father Sivaji Ganesan, MG Ramachandran, Gemini Ganesan, etc., would shoot for a film at the AVM Studios and he feels that this was instrumental in cementing their relationship.
Prabhu feels that this trend should be revived but quickly added that he is not averse to outdoor shooting as technical advancements have made it a necessity.
