Just before few moments, actor Jiiva was there at Chennai Police Commissioner's Office to lodge complaint on ‘Singam Puli’ piracy. The actor was busy shooting for ‘Nanban’ at Dehradun when he heard the news about ‘Singam Puli’ piracy over online and DVDs. Soon after completing his first schedule, he rushed down to Chennai to visit police commissioner to take necessary action.

‘Singam Puli’ released on last Friday is witnessing good results at the box office. As per trade reports, the film had a good opening across all centres and producers are expecting for same results in weeks to come.
