According to recent reports, director Seeman who was supposed to work with Vijay for his Pagalavan has made a casting coup of sorts. He has managed to get Jiiva to take up the lead role it appears and he now wants to rope in one of the hottest heroines in the south. Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu and Seeman are anxious to get the happening Shruti Haasan for the heroine's role. They feel that Jiiva and Shruti will make a great pair.
Seeman has revealed that Pagalavan is an entertainer that will also bring to light some of the shortcomings in our society like lack of access to a proper education and other problems faced by the less fortunate.
