Sana Khan who was seen in Silambattam as STR's heroine has just got herself a big project. She will be starring in a Malayalam film which is a biopic on Silk Smitha to be directed by Anil. The script has been written by Anthony Eastman, the man who gave Silk her break in Malayalam. The makers feel that their film will be a truer portrayal of the sex siren than the recent The Dirty Picture which had more fictional elements.
The movie has been named Profile, and the team is confident they have a winner on their hands especially with Sana Khan playing the lead. Veena Malik will also be portraying the role of Silk Amitha, but in the Kannada remake of The Dirty Picture (Profile isn’t a remake of Dirty Picture) and there is talk of a remake in Tamil and Telugu as well. It appears that even the memory of Silk is guaranteed to make money!
