Yet another lady director is making her way into Kollywood. Actress Rohini, who loves to explore all the departments of film making, will soon be directing her first film, Appavin Meesai. Director Cheran, who was thoroughly impressed with the script, has come forward to produce the film.

Rohini who turned a lyricist in Gautham Menon’s Pachaikili Muthucharam has penned all the songs for the upcoming romantic venture Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakkathile. She has been a successful actress, writer, lyricist and activist. Let’s see if she glitters as a director too.
