Priya Anand, the bubbly actress who played the love interest of Siddharth in Nootrenbathu, was initially offered the lead role in Thuppakki opposite Vijay. But she had to put down the offer as she had already given her dates to the upcoming Bollywood project English Vinglish starring Sridevi.
Now the actress has been roped in opposite Siva Karthikeyan in Ethir Neechal, which is being produced and scripted by Dhanush. She is also expected to play the lead lady in Kiruthika Udhayanidhi’s directorial debut.
