Shriya Saran, leading lady in Rowthiram, bagged her role in the film by chance. The actress was at the shooting spot when the first shot was on and debut director Gokul instantly felt that she was the one who could carry off the role to perfection.
After a discussion with producer RB Choudhury and hero Jiiva, Gokul signed up Shriya to play Jiiva’s pair in Rowthiram. The director has said that Shriya was wearing a saree and looked traditional which was the main reason for signing her up.
Rowthiram’s audio launch took place very recently and the movie is slated to be released in August.
