The Rajasthan Cosmo Club Foundation organized an event for the distribution of clothes to various orphanages in the city. The event was well attended with K. Muthukaruppan IPS, Additional Director of Police, Director of Civil Defense and Additional Commandant General, Home Guards, Ravi Varman cinematographer and SJ Suryah. actor-cum-director as the chief guests.
About 32,890 new clothes estimated to cost over 55 lakhs, were distributed at the event held on January 26th, 2011. The function was held at the TN Rajarathnam Auditorium Dr. Deshmukh Road, RA Puram under Dinesh Kumar Bhandari New Clothes Scheme.
