A promo song for Marina that begins with the lyrics ‘Vanakkam Vazhavaikkum Chennai’ has been penned by Na Muthukumar. Girish has scored the music for this song. Speaking about this song, director Pandiraj said that he felt the need for a promo song and wanted it to tell the tale of the city. Na Muthukumar came out with the lyrics and Girish scored the music for it, he added.
Pandiraj said that since it is a promo song, he wanted some well-known faces to feature in it and Vikram Sneha, Prakash Raj, Ameer and Sasi Kumar consented to it. The song has been filmed with these stars and directors and will surely reach the target audiences, says Pandiraj.
