At a recent event, director SP Muthuraman said that Kamal Haasan, Meena and Sridevi shone as child artistes and later as stars because of their parents or relatives. While for Kamal, it was his brother Chandra Haasan, who took care of him during the shooting and also extracted work from him, for Meena and Sri Devi it was their respective mothers.
They made it big in the film industry and carved a niche for themselves because of the love showered on them by their families and their hard work, said SP Muthuraman. He urged the younger generation and their parents to tap the talents of their children and let them work towards achieving their goals.
