Reports say that Suriya is playing a dual role in Matraan. Director KV Anand has taken up a social issue as the crux of this film and Suriya’s has been etched out powerfully. A major portion of the shooting has been completed and there are reports that the special effects of Matraan are being done at the Stan Winston Studios in the US.
Matraan has Kajal Agarwal playing Suriya’s leading lady. Music for this film is by Harris Jayaraj.
