Vettrimaran is looking to direct a multi-starrer, say sources in Kollywood. The director already has two hits to his credit – Polladhavan and Aadukalam – both of which starred Dhanush. The script for his next film is almost ready but the director just needs to find a suitable star cast, we hear.
This film, titled Vada Chennai, is a double hero subject and not many actors were keen on taking it up. However, talks are on with Jiiva and Arya and it is expected that both these stars would be keen on taking up the offer as they have been advocating the need for multi-starrers in Kollywood in lines with the Hindi film industry.
