Sneha Ullal was roped in as one of the two heroines in the Silambarasan-starrer Vaanam. But now we hear that she is not a part of the film and debutant Jasmine has stepped into her shoes.
The decision to cast Jasmine in place of Sneha was apparently made in the last moment, as the film itself is gearing up for release in April. Though there is no clear reason given as to why Sneha was replaced, it is being said that replacement was very easy as her role was a very short one.
Director Krish did not have any qualms over re-shooting some of the scenes with Jasmine due to this, sources report.
