Smash hit Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg is soon to be remade in Tamil. The film will have Silambarasan playing the lead role, it has been reported. In Dabangg, Salman Khan had essayed the role of a fearless cop and it would be a treat for Silambarasan’s fans to watch him in the same role in the Tamil version.
The remake version will be produced by Balaji Studios’ Mohan Apparao and T Ramesh. The other cast and crew for this flick is on the verge of being finalized as plans are on to begin the shooting by April end. There is a strong anticipation that the leading lady would be from Bollywood.
