STR's next is Vada Chennai with Vetri Maaran to be produced by Cloud Nine Movies. Rana Dagubatti and Andrea will also be seen in this film. STR's pair in the film is yet to be confirmed and the team is searching high and low for a suitable heroine. The film will be shot mainly in Chennai and location scouts are hunting for the perfect spots.
The crew comprises of cinematographer Velraj, editor Kishore and music will be done by GV Prakash. Vetri Maaran is keeping a tight lid on plot details but word is that the film will be about an ordinary fisherman who life becomes entangled with the mafia.
