Vijay is known for his philanthropic activities that he carries out through his extensive fan clubs. He is now going to Vellore to conduct a set of free marriages. He had earlier appreciated his fans who had been involved in welfare activities and he also gifted gold rings to newly born babies on the occasion of his birthday.
Currently he is extremely busy on the film front as well, with Thuppakki and upcoming films like Yohan and Thalaivan.
