Since Dhanush's film with brother Selva, Mayakkam Enna is done, he has taken on a brand new project. His next director is Chimbudevan of Imsai Arasu 23 Pulikesi and Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singham fame. His project with Dhanush will be a fantasy epic.
The film which is to be called Maarisan will be produced by UTV for an estimated budget of 30 crores. Dhanush is going to have a new look for this film. Elaborate sets are to be created by art director Muthuraj who is a regular in Chimbudevan's films. GV Prakash will compose the score and cinematography will be taken care of by Kathir.
