Director Suryaprakash is finalizing the cast for his Kamuthiyil Oru Kadhal which is based on a true story about a pair of lovers from Dindugal district. The movie boasts of a unique feature – a mother character who will not cry because she thinks tears dilute anger and weakens the character. This is a refreshing change from the usual screen moms who are always sobbing their eyes out. This strong character will be played by Radhika Sarath Kumar who has stayed away from films for some time.
The lovers will be played by new faces as the director feels that fresh talent suits the characters best. Music is by debutant, Vikram who was the keyboarder for prolific musicians like Harris Jayaraj, Mani Sharma, and GV Prakash. Kamuthiyil Oru Kathal will be produced under the banner of Shri Mayi Films, headed by Alangudi R Senthilkumar. It is said to be a different film and showcase raw emotions in a sensitive manner.
