A UK-based research firm has developed a mask for cows. The company's statement on the need for this has shocked many.
It was only after the arrival of the corona that the mask became known to many. The World Health Organization (WHO) continues to urge people to wear masks to protect themselves from germs. In this case, the UK-based start-up Zelp has invented a mask for cows. Researchers at the company say the discovery is necessary to save the world.
Cows emit large amounts of methane gas when they bark. Zelp has taken up this project to control methane as it is likely to increase the Earth's temperature. The mask absorbs 95% of the methane that escapes through the nostrils when the cow snorts while wearing the mask.
It then masks the conversion of methane into carbon dioxide and vapor. The company also said that it will be used in the largest cattle farms in European countries.
According to the company, the plan to convert methane to carbon dioxide and vapor released by cattle under the current circumstances has an accuracy of 53 percent and steps are being taken to convert it to 60 percent by next year.
The research has been honored by the prestigious Royal College of Arts in the UK. Also, Prince Charles welcomed the discovery.
