North Korea has carried out six nuclear tests since 2006, despite UN Security Council resolutions. The last time North Korea tested a nuclear bomb was in September 2017. It was reported to be a hydrogen bomb.

A U.S. Government official has released a sensational report stating that the North Korean President plans to test a nuclear weapon on his grandfather's 110th birthday. The official said, ‘I don’t want to speculate too much, but I think it could be another missile launch, it could be a nuclear test. Hopefully, the anniversary can pass without any further escalation."
