FAMOUS YOUTUBER DIES IN PARAGLIDING ACCIDENT; INTERNET MOURNS!

Popular YouTuber Grant Thompson who was hosting the channel ‘The King of Random’ has died in a Paragliding accident, his family announced.

“It is with great sadness to inform everyone that Grant Thompson passed away last night. Please do a random act of love or kindness today in honor of the King of Random. Grant’s legacy will live on in the channel and the global community he created.” the family wrote on Instagram.

The 38-year-old, who has 11 Million subscribers on his channel did not return home from a Paragliding trip on Monday (July 29). A GPS device attached to him was later used to locate his body. The paragliding equipment used by Thompson has been recovered along with a video recording device. Videos in the recorder might shed some light on reasons behind the incident.

Thompson published his last video titling “Rice Cake RAFT! Will It Float?” was uploaded on Saturday. According to one of his interviews in 2017, Thompson worked as an airline pilot for 11 years and then worked for a brief time in real estate.
